Skillry LaunchMotion alternative for Claude Code launch videos

Skillry's LaunchMotion is an Agent Skill that gives Claude Code, Codex or Cursor a library of editable motion graphics scenes for product launch videos, sold at $4.99 per scene or with a Skillry plan. Alternatives include free open-source kits, pay-once Remotion template packs, and Scenes, which lets you preview every scene free and copy finished HyperFrames scenes into Claude Code.

Skillry pricing as of 3 Nov 2026 (skillry.dev/pricing): Monthly $9.99 (a Black Friday price, normally $19.9), Yearly $79 (was $158), Founding Lifetime $169 (was $249). All plans include 50 Skill loads a day, and single scenes are $4.99. Skillry says the Black Friday offer ends 30 November 2026 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time and renews at full price. Skillry also sells skills for slides, web and images, so the plan covers more than video.

Skillry's pricing FAQ addresses whether a plan includes model or rendering costs. Whichever library you choose, the model work runs on your own agent subscription, such as your Claude plan. With HyperFrames scenes the MP4 renders on your own computer, so the render itself costs nothing.

Other options: RenderComp sells 1,000+ Remotion templates pay-once ($149 Solo, $299 Studio, $799 Agency as of 3 Nov 2026) and offers 50 free MIT templates; free kits such as motionmaxxing (Apache-2.0) and the HyperFrames registry of about 450 blocks cost nothing but need more assembly. A lifetime price only pays off if you keep using the library, so preview the actual scenes before you buy any of them.

Scenes to start from

Step by step

  1. Preview before you pay

Watch the scenes you would actually use. In Scenes every scene previews free, and free accounts copy 2 a day.

  2. Pull a launch scene into Claude Code

Use the Scenes skill (see Docs) or paste the scene's prompt into Claude Code.

    node ~/.claude/skills/scenes-library/pull.mjs saas-hero my-scene
  3. Use your real product

Give Claude Code your logo, product name and screenshots, and ask it to keep the screenshots unchanged.

  4. Check it and render the MP4

HyperFrames renders the MP4 on your own computer, free, as often as you like. You need Node.js installed. Check first: it reports anything off-frame or broken.

    npx hyperframes check my-scene
    npx hyperframes render my-scene

Questions

Can I buy a single launch video scene instead of a subscription?

Skillry sells single scenes at $4.99 as of 3 Nov 2026. In Scenes, free accounts can copy 2 scenes a day without paying.

Is a $169 lifetime plan worth it?

Only if you will use the library often and want its other skills too. Free kits are improving, so compare the scenes you would actually use.

Do these work with Codex or Cursor as well as Claude Code?

Skillry lists Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. HyperFrames scenes are plain HTML, so any coding agent that can edit files and run npx can work with them.

Is it free?

Browsing and previewing every scene is free, and free accounts copy 2 scenes a day. The render is free because HyperFrames makes the MP4 on your own computer, with no watermark on the video.
